dI purchase pictures for a magazine and we do not use a credit card. How can we benefit from Motorshots rates ?
Motorshots can offer lower rates than other players on the market as credit card payments reduce overheads and provide fast transfer of funds. We provide corporate customer with identical rates on the basis of prepaid payments. This means that after a transfer of a minimum of € 300 (or its equivalent) to our accounts you will have, in this particular case, a credit of € 330 to purchase pictures directly from the site. This offer has not time limitation or minimum number of purchases per year.
Some pictures are not available in all three resolutions, why ?
There are various reasons for this: in some cases (old pictures generally) our quality controls reveal that the quality of the original material does not allow high resolutions. In the case of recent events, we only offer high resolution images in the days following the events. Lower resolutions will be offered in the following weeks.
Can a high resolution picture be used on a web site?
Yes, it can from a technical point of view but we do not recommend this option. As this type of resolution will take a lot of time to be downloaded on the screen, we recommend to use any image processing software and to decrease the size of the picture. We recommend a maximum of 96 dpi for web images.
When are pictures of a particular event available?
With our staff photographers based on-site during a large number of events you are likely to be able to download high resolution images during the event or a couple of hours later. If you have any particular need for certain events, let us know in advance.
Can I get event credentials through Motorshots?
Credentials are only available for Motorshots staff members. Freelance photographers are required to process their credentials directly with the official organizers.
Some motor sport activities are not available?
We are currently working on expending our offering. In 2005 we will also be covering the DTM races and at the end of the year we will start with the new A1 championship.
