Tarquini places Seat on pole along with Muller, Gene and Monteiro giving the four top spots to the Spanish manufacturer. Coronel was disqualified from Q2 due to a weight issue.
SEAT and BMW dominated race one and two respectively.
Race1: The TDI León cars filled the four top positions in the race one in front of the home crowd. Yvan Muller got his third victory of the season keeping him on top of the World Champion's at this stage.
In the second race, Augusto Farfus and Jörg Müller managed to overturn the situation. The BMW Team Germany duo claimed a 1-2 of crucial importance for the German Manufacturer, as it not only marked BMW's first victory so far this year, but also re-launched their hopes in the title fight that now sees Farfus lying second, only three points behind Muller.
